Main Fields of Scientific Research:
  1. Earth orientation parameters.  -  polar motion ,UT1-UTC , nutation corrections.
  2. Geophysical Fluids - atmospheric and oceanic angular momentum,
  3. Time series analysis - Spectral analysis, filtration, prediction, time-frequency analyises,
  4. International Terrestrial Reference Frame.
  5. Sea level variations - Time-frequency analysis of sea level anomalies determined from TOPEX/Poseidoin altimetry. Ocean topography spectral analysis and filtration. El Nino.

Honours/Titles/Qualifications (Organization, Title, Year of Award):

1995 - Two Awards of the director of the Space Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences. Elaboration of prediction method for polar motion. Participation in the local organizing commettee of Journees 2005 in Warsaw.

1998 - Awards of the director of the Space Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences. Habillitation degree.

2007 - Award of the director of the Space Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences. Elaboration of the new method of polar motion prediction for the IERS.

2009 - Award of the director of the Space Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences. Organisation of the IERS Workshop on EOP Combination and Prediction.
